1. Nature of the service
The live conditions, hourly forecasts, 7-day outlooks and educational meteorology content provided by SkyLog (“the site”) are for personal, everyday reference only. They do not constitute professional meteorological, aviation, maritime, medical, agricultural or occupational-safety advice, and no warranty or guarantee of any kind is made.
2. Third-party data and inherent uncertainty
Weather data is supplied by open third-party services such as Open-Meteo, whose numerical forecasts are produced by models run by meteorological institutions around the world. A weather forecast is a probabilistic inference built from current observations and the physics of the atmosphere; observation density, terrain and local convection can introduce errors, and forecasts may be inaccurate. Uncertainty is especially large for short-term showers, summer thunderstorms, and weather in mountains or over islands.
The temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation-probability and UV values shown here may be delayed by update cycles or affected by API issues. While we work hard to keep the service reliable, we do not promise that data will always be accurate, timely, complete or uninterrupted.
3. Official warnings take precedence in severe weather
Preparing for hurricanes and typhoons, floods, blizzards, cold waves, gales, heatwaves, lightning, dense fog, hail and other meteorological hazards must follow the official warnings and instructions issued by your national weather service and local emergency-management authorities.
Nothing on this site may be used as the basis for decisions to close workplaces or schools, cancel transport, evacuate or take shelter. Where the site and an official source differ, the official source always prevails. During hazardous weather, monitor your country's official alert systems and trusted local channels.
4. Limits of health-related content
Our articles on clothing, sun protection and managing heat or cold are general health common sense, not advice tailored to any individual's medical condition. Infants, older adults, pregnant people, those with chronic illness and anyone taking medication tolerate temperature extremes and UV differently; consult a doctor or pharmacist about personal protection. Seek prompt medical care for heat illness, frostbite or other symptoms.
5. Travel and outdoor activities are at your own risk
The travel weather guidance here cannot cover every risk on a particular road, shipping lane, mountain or body of water. Verify official notices from airlines, railways, highways and parks yourself, and make decisions about hiking, camping and water activities based on your own ability, equipment and the rules of the managing authority. We are not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from travel undertaken in reliance on this site.
6. External links
Articles may link to third-party websites, such as meteorological agencies or advertising providers. We do not control their content, privacy practices or availability, and we accept no responsibility for their accuracy or legality. Visiting external websites is at your own risk.
7. Advertising and sponsored content
Ads shown on the site are delivered automatically by third-party advertising systems. Products, services or opinions appearing in ads do not represent a recommendation or endorsement by the site. Transactions or disputes arising from advertisements should be resolved with the relevant advertiser or platform. Ad slots are clearly labelled and strictly separated from editorial content.
8. Changes and interruptions
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for inaccessibility or data anomalies caused by network failures, third-party API changes, server maintenance or events beyond reasonable control.
9. Contact us
